Let me take you back a few months to when we had a totally kick ass Silvia meet in Kobe, Japan. In the first article I portrayed the day’s events, now we will have a little bit more of an in-depth look at some of the lush automotive machinery present.
The first one is Kenjiruo-san’s extremely tidy Nissan 180SX. A simple bodykit has been added along with widened front and rear guards. All of which has been painted black.
I’m not much of a wheel nerd, so I’m not sure what wheels these actually are. However Kenjirou-san assured me that they were rather rare in the motherland of Japan.
There is no way these wheels would have fit under the factory guards on closer inspection. Even with the added width from the bolt on guards, they are still fairly cambered to fit snug in the arch.
It’s some of the little things that make cars stand out. I love the headlights! That dab of paint in the corner creates such an anger about the car, very intimidating indeed.
We can also see that an owner, at some point in time, managed to get a plate matching the name of the car. How cool is that? That’s all for this 180SX.
Don’t be sad though, this was only the first of many spotlight features from that day’s antics, next we will look at Naofumi-san and his sexy S13.
